You’re not just buying weed. You’re getting products that passed state testing for potency and contaminants. You’re avoiding the legal risk that comes with unlicensed shops. And you’re choosing from a real selection—flower, edibles, vapes, tinctures, concentrates—not whatever’s left in a jar.
Long Island has more illegal cannabis shops than legal ones. That’s not an exaggeration. For every licensed dispensary, there are roughly 16 unlicensed storefronts selling untested products with zero accountability. You can’t verify what’s in them, where they came from, or whether they’re safe.
Legal dispensaries follow New York’s quality standards. Every product is lab-tested, properly labeled, and traceable. If you’re using cannabis for anxiety, sleep, or pain relief, you need to know what you’re consuming. That’s not possible when you’re buying from a shop that could disappear tomorrow.
We operate as a licensed cannabis service in New York, which means we follow the state’s regulations for product sourcing, testing, and delivery. We’re not a pop-up. We’re not skirting the law. We’re here because we meet the standards that protect you as a customer.
Bayport sits in Suffolk County, where legal dispensary access is still limited. Many towns opted out of allowing cannabis retail, which created gaps in coverage and opened the door for illegal operators. We fill that gap with legal delivery, so you don’t have to drive to Farmingdale or Riverhead just to buy cannabis legally.
If you’ve been to a licensed dispensary on Long Island—like Happy Days or Strain Stars in Farmingdale, Strong Strains in East Setauket, or Planet Nugg—you know what a real operation looks like. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.
You browse our menu online. You’ll see flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, tinctures, and concentrates—all with clear THC/CBD percentages, strain info, and pricing. No surprises.
You place an order through our site. We verify your age and delivery address. If you’re in Bayport or nearby, we can usually deliver same-day, depending on order volume and time of day.
Your order arrives discreetly. Our delivery team brings your products directly to your door. Everything is sealed, labeled, and compliant with New York packaging laws. You check your ID at the door, receive your order, and you’re done.
It’s faster than driving to a dispensary in Coram or Deer Park. And you’re getting the same legal, tested products you’d find at any licensed cannabis store near you—just without the trip.

You’ll find multiple product types depending on what works for you. Flower is still the most popular—about a third of all cannabis sales in New York—but edibles, vapes, and concentrates are growing fast. Edibles are discreet and easy to dose. Vapes are portable and fast-acting. Tinctures give you control over exact dosing. Concentrates are for experienced users who want higher potency.
We stock products that serve different needs. If you’re using cannabis for sleep or anxiety, we can point you toward strains and formats that other customers find helpful. If you’re new to cannabis, we’ll steer you toward lower-dose options so you’re not overwhelmed. If you know exactly what you want, we’ll get it to you without the upsell.
Long Island’s legal market is still catching up to demand. There are licensed dispensaries in Farmingville, Calverton, Southampton, and Riverhead, but Bayport doesn’t have a storefront yet. That’s why delivery matters. You get access to the same regulated products without waiting for a local shop to open or making the drive yourself.
New York’s cannabis laws allow adults 21 and over to purchase and possess up to three ounces of flower or 24 grams of concentrate. You can’t smoke in public places, and home cultivation isn’t allowed yet. But private consumption is legal, and delivery is fully permitted under state law.
New York requires every licensed dispensary to display a QR code near the entrance that links to the state’s dispensary verification tool. If you don’t see that code, the shop isn’t legal. You can also check the Office of Cannabis Management’s website for a list of licensed retailers.
It’s not always obvious. Some unlicensed shops use official-looking signage, accept credit cards, and operate in busy areas. But they’re not submitting to state testing or following product safety rules. That means you have no idea what’s in what you’re buying.
If you’re ordering online or using delivery, make sure the service is licensed. Ask for their license number. Check their website for compliance language. Legal operators will be upfront about their status because it’s a selling point.
A licensed pot dispensary sells cannabis products that contain THC and are regulated by New York’s Office of Cannabis Management. A smoke shop sells accessories, CBD products, and sometimes hemp-derived items, but not actual marijuana unless they’re operating illegally.
Some smoke shops have started selling cannabis without a license, especially in areas where enforcement is inconsistent. That’s a risk for you as a buyer. If the shop isn’t licensed, the products aren’t tested, and you have no legal recourse if something goes wrong.
Licensed dispensaries are required to check ID, limit purchase amounts, and sell only lab-tested products with proper labeling. Smoke shops don’t follow those rules unless they’ve obtained a dispensary license, which most haven’t.
Yes, if you order early enough and we’re not at capacity. Most orders placed before early afternoon can be delivered same-day. Orders placed later in the day might arrive the next day, depending on volume and delivery routes.
Delivery is legal under New York law as long as the service is licensed and the recipient is 21 or older. You’ll need to show ID when your order arrives. We can’t leave cannabis at your door or with someone else.
Same-day delivery is one of the main reasons people choose delivery over visiting a dispensary. You don’t have to plan your day around a trip to Farmingdale or deal with parking and lines. You order, we deliver, and you’re done.
At a licensed dispensary, yes. Every product sold legally in New York must pass lab testing for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants. The results are documented, and the product can’t be sold without passing.
Unlicensed shops don’t test their products. They’re not required to, and most don’t bother. That means you could be consuming cannabis with pesticides, mold, or inaccurate THC levels. If you’re using cannabis for medical reasons—sleep, anxiety, pain—you need to know what you’re taking.
Testing also ensures accurate labeling. If a product says it contains 20% THC, that’s verified. If an edible says it has 10mg per piece, that’s tested. You’re not guessing or hoping the label is correct.
Because legal dispensaries pay for testing, licensing, compliance, taxes, and regulated supply chains. Illegal shops skip all of that, which is why they can undercut on price. But you’re also getting untested products with no accountability.
New York has some of the highest cannabis prices in the country right now—about $31 per item on average. That’s partly due to supply constraints and partly due to the cost of operating legally. As more licensed growers and processors come online, prices should come down.
You’re paying for safety and legality. If you’re okay with the risk of untested cannabis and potential legal trouble, illegal shops are cheaper. If you want to know what you’re consuming and avoid legal issues, the extra cost is worth it.
Start with low-dose edibles or a mild flower strain. Edibles are easy to control—start with 5mg of THC and wait two hours before taking more. Flower gives you faster feedback, but it’s harder to dose precisely if you’re not experienced.
Ask about the difference between indica, sativa, and hybrid strains. Indica tends to be more relaxing, sativa more energizing, and hybrids fall somewhere in between. But individual reactions vary, so those categories are just a starting point.
Don’t be embarrassed to say you’re new. A good dispensary will walk you through options without pushing high-potency products. If someone’s trying to sell you the strongest thing they have, that’s a red flag. You want a place that helps you find what works, not what makes them the most money.
