No. New York’s adult-use program allows anyone 21 or older to purchase cannabis without a medical card. You just need a valid government-issued ID at the time of delivery.
Medical cardholders do get some advantages under New York law, including access to higher-potency products and lower taxes. If you have a qualifying condition and use cannabis regularly, a medical card might save you money long-term. But it’s not required to order from us.
Our delivery drivers check ID at the door. If you’re not 21 or can’t provide valid identification, we can’t complete the delivery. That’s non-negotiable under state law.
Federal law still classifies cannabis as a Schedule I substance, which means banks and credit card processors won’t touch cannabis transactions. Even though New York legalized adult-use sales, dispensaries can’t accept credit cards or use traditional payment systems without risking federal penalties.
Some dispensaries are starting to accept debit cards through cashless ATM systems, but it’s not widespread yet. For now, cash is the standard. Bring exact change if possible to make the transaction smoother.

The closest options include Simply Green in Coram, Long Island Cannabis Club in Deer Park, and several shops in Farmingdale like Happy Days, Planet Nugg, and Strain Stars. Canna Blooms operates in Farmingville, and there are a few locations further east in Riverhead, Calverton, and Southampton.
Most Long Island towns opted out of allowing dispensaries, which is why access is still limited. That’s changing slowly as towns reconsider, but for now, delivery services like ours fill the gap for people who don’t live near a storefront.
