You shouldn’t have to wonder if what you’re buying is safe, legal, or even what the label says it is. That’s the problem with the illicit market—no testing, no accountability, no way to know if you’re getting ripped off or worse.
Every product at our Holbrook location comes with a Certificate of Analysis. That’s a lab report showing exact THC and CBD levels, plus test results for pesticides, heavy metals, and contaminants. You can see it before you buy. Most reputable dispensaries link these reports right on their site or packaging via QR code.
Long Island’s legal cannabis market hit over $109 million by late 2024, but illegal shops still outnumber licensed ones by a huge margin. The difference? We’re state-licensed, fully compliant, and actually accountable if something goes wrong. You’re not just buying cannabis—you’re buying peace of mind that what you’re consuming won’t land you in trouble or the hospital.
Suffolk County has been underserved for years. Only four Long Island towns even voted to allow recreational sales, and zoning restrictions make it harder to open than almost anywhere else in the state. That’s why there are only 111 open retailers serving over 11 million downstate residents.
Bring Me Weed exists to fill that gap in Holbrook. We’re not trying to be the flashiest or the cheapest. We’re here to give you access to regulated, lab-tested cannabis without the drive to NYC or the risk of buying from unlicensed sellers. Whether you’re a medical patient managing chronic pain or someone exploring cannabis for the first time, you’ll find what you need here—and someone who can explain it without talking down to you.
First, bring a valid ID. You need to be 21+ for recreational purchases or have a medical cannabis card if you’re shopping the medical menu. When you walk in, you’ll see our Dispensary Verification Tool posted near the entrance—that’s required by New York State and confirms we’re fully licensed.
From there, our staff walks you through the menu. We carry flower, edibles, vape cartridges, concentrates, tinctures, and pre-rolls. If you’re new to this, we’ll ask what you’re looking for—pain relief, better sleep, anxiety management, creativity—and recommend products based on that. If you know exactly what strain or product you want, even better. We’re not here to upsell you on stuff you don’t need.
Once you’ve made your choice, we handle payment and you’re out the door. No hidden fees. No pressure. No judgment. You’ll also get access to your product’s COA if you want to review potency or safety data. Most people don’t ask, but it’s there if you care about that level of transparency.

We stock products across every major category. Flower is still the most popular—about 45% of sales statewide—and we carry sativa, indica, and hybrid strains from New York’s top brands like Dank, Ayrloom, and MFNY. Most customers buy in eighth-ounce packages, and our pricing sits around the Long Island average of $37 per eighth.
If you’re not into smoking, we’ve got edibles (gummies, chocolates, baked goods), vape cartridges, concentrates, and tinctures. Edibles and vapes are growing fast, especially with people who want discreet, smoke-free options. Pre-rolls are convenient if you’re visiting from out of town and can’t travel with product.
For medical patients, we carry higher-CBD options and products specifically formulated for pain, inflammation, and sleep disorders. New York’s medical program has been around longer than recreational, so the product selection for patients is deep. And because Long Island’s dispensaries generate the highest per-store revenue in the state, we’re able to keep inventory fresh and rotate in new products regularly. You’re not stuck with the same five strains every time you visit.
Medical dispensaries serve registered patients with a New York medical cannabis card. Recreational dispensaries serve anyone 21 and older with a valid ID. Some dispensaries, like ours, serve both.
The main difference is product selection and pricing. Medical products often have higher CBD content and are formulated for specific conditions like chronic pain, PTSD, or epilepsy. Recreational products focus more on THC content and general use cases like relaxation or creativity. Medical patients also get access to higher purchase limits and sometimes better pricing, depending on the dispensary.
If you’re dealing with a qualifying condition—cancer, chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, or several others—it’s worth getting a medical card. The process in New York is straightforward, and it gives you more options. If you’re just exploring cannabis or using it occasionally, the recreational menu will cover what you need.
Every legal dispensary in New York is required to sell only lab-tested products. That means third-party labs check for potency (THC and CBD levels), pesticides, heavy metals, mold, and microbial contaminants before the product hits the shelf.
You can ask to see the Certificate of Analysis for any product. Most brands include a QR code on the packaging that links directly to the lab report. If a dispensary can’t or won’t show you test results, that’s a red flag. Licensed dispensaries are required to make this information available.
This is one of the biggest reasons to buy legal. Illicit market products aren’t tested, and there’s no accountability if something’s contaminated or mislabeled. You’re gambling every time. With a licensed dispensary, you know exactly what you’re getting, down to the percentage point.
Start with something low-THC or balanced with CBD. High-THC products can be overwhelming if you’re not used to them, especially edibles. A 1:1 THC:CBD ratio is a good entry point—you’ll feel the effects without getting uncomfortably high.
For flower, ask for a hybrid strain. Sativas can be energizing but sometimes anxiety-inducing for new users. Indicas are relaxing but can make you too sleepy if you overdo it. Hybrids split the difference. Blue Dream and OG Kush are popular starter strains that most people tolerate well.
If you don’t want to smoke, try a low-dose edible (5mg THC or less) or a vape pen with a balanced ratio. Edibles take longer to kick in—sometimes up to two hours—so don’t take more just because you don’t feel it right away. That’s the most common mistake new users make. Our staff can walk you through dosing and what to expect so you’re not guessing.
Yes. Long Island pricing is fairly consistent across licensed dispensaries because we’re all sourcing from the same state-regulated supply chain. You’ll see flower priced around $14-$15 per gram and $35-$40 for an eighth. Edibles, vapes, and concentrates vary more by brand, but the range is similar across the region.
Where pricing differs is in deals and loyalty programs. Some dispensaries run regular promotions—buy-two-get-one, discounts for medical patients, first-time customer deals. We keep our pricing transparent and competitive without inflating the base price just to offer fake discounts later.
The bigger issue isn’t price—it’s value. Cheaper isn’t always better if the product is low-quality or inconsistent. You’re better off paying a few dollars more for something lab-tested and reliable than saving money on a product that doesn’t work or, worse, isn’t safe. That’s the trade-off between legal and illicit. You’re paying for accountability.
It depends on the dispensary. Some New York dispensaries offer online ordering for in-store pickup, and a few offer delivery within a certain radius. Delivery is still rolling out across the state, so availability varies by location.
If we offer online ordering, you can browse the menu, add products to your cart, and pay online or at pickup. You’ll still need to show ID when you pick up or receive delivery—there’s no way around that. It’s a state requirement.
Delivery is convenient if you’re mobility-limited or just don’t want to make the trip, but expect to pay a delivery fee and possibly a minimum order amount. Pickup is faster and usually cheaper. Either way, you’re getting the same lab-tested, licensed products. It’s just a question of how you want to receive them.
Bring a valid government-issued ID. That means a driver’s license, passport, or state ID. You need to be 21 or older for recreational purchases. If you’re a medical patient, bring your New York medical cannabis card along with your ID.
That’s it. You don’t need cash, though some dispensaries prefer it due to banking restrictions in the cannabis industry. We accept multiple payment methods, but it’s worth asking ahead if you’re planning to use a card. Some dispensaries are still cash-only or use workarounds like cashless ATMs.
If it’s your first visit, don’t stress. Our staff will walk you through the process, answer questions, and help you find what you’re looking for. There’s no expectation that you know everything going in. Most people don’t. Just show up with an open mind and a valid ID, and we’ll handle the rest.
