Concentrates and topicals round out the menu. Concentrates are for experienced users who want high-purity THC. Topicals are for localized pain relief without the high. Both have their place depending on what you’re trying to accomplish.
New York’s market is leaning hard into small-batch, high-quality products. You’re seeing more solventless concentrates, terpene-rich infused flower, and transparent sourcing. That’s what we stock—stuff that reflects where the market’s actually going, not what was trendy two years ago.
You need a valid government-issued ID proving you’re 21 or older. That means a state driver’s license, state ID card, or passport.
Medical cannabis patients need their New York medical marijuana card plus a valid ID. The card gets you access to medical products and potentially different purchase limits, but you still need to verify your age and identity every time.
Bring cash. Every dispensary in New York operates cash-only because federal banking laws don’t allow financial institutions to process cannabis transactions. Some places have ATMs on-site, but it’s smarter to show up prepared. Don’t expect to use a debit or credit card—it won’t work.

You’ll see a QR code on the product label. Scan it, and you’ll pull up the Certificate of Analysis for that specific batch. It shows THC and CBD percentages, terpene profiles, and whether the product passed contamination screenings.
You’ll also see New York’s universal cannabis symbol on every regulated product. It’s a triangle with a cannabis leaf and an exclamation point. If you don’t see that symbol, you’re not buying from a licensed dispensary. The storefront should also display a Dispensary Verification Tool—scan that QR code to confirm the shop’s licensed by the Office of Cannabis Management. If both those things check out, you’re buying tested, regulated cannabis.
Indica strains are typically associated with relaxation and sedation. People use them for sleep, pain relief, or winding down at night. They tend to have higher levels of myrcene, a terpene linked to calming effects.
Sativa strains are usually more energizing. You’ll hear people say they’re better for daytime use, creativity, or focus. They often contain terpenes like limonene and pinene, which are tied to alertness and mood elevation.
Hybrids are a mix of both. Depending on the ratio, they can lean more indica or more sativa, or they can be balanced. The effects depend on the specific strain’s cannabinoid and terpene profile, not just the label. That’s why it’s worth asking about the terpenes and THC levels, not just whether it’s labeled indica or sativa. The chemistry matters more than the category.
New York updated its cannabis advertising rules in December 2025, and those rules changed what dispensaries can legally promote. Discounts, loyalty programs, and daily deals are now tightly regulated.
Some dispensaries still offer promotions, but they have to follow strict guidelines about how they’re advertised. You won’t see flashy signs or social media posts screaming about sales anymore. Instead, you might find in-store specials or email-only offers if you’re on a mailing list.

Delivery times vary depending on demand and location, but we aim for same-day or next-day delivery within our coverage area. The products are the same lab-tested, regulated items you’d get in the store. If you’d rather not leave the house or you’re managing a busy schedule, delivery’s a solid option.
New York’s cannabis market is still young. The first legal dispensary opened in December 2022, and the state’s still building out its retail infrastructure.
Limited supply and high demand drive prices up. Nassau County has zero recreational dispensaries, and Suffolk only has six. That creates a supply bottleneck for all of Long Island. When there aren’t enough stores to meet demand, prices stay elevated.
New York also has strict testing and packaging requirements, which add costs. Every product has to pass lab testing, carry specific labeling, and include child-resistant packaging. Those standards make cannabis safer, but they also make it more expensive to produce and sell.
As more dispensaries open and competition increases, prices should start to flatten. That’s already happening in other parts of the state. For now, you’re paying a premium for legal, tested access in a market that’s still scaling up. It’s frustrating, but it’s also temporary.
