Hear from Our Customers
You’re not looking for a lecture or a sales pitch. You want to walk in, get what you need, and know it’s safe and legal.
Every product at our marijuana dispensary goes through lab testing. Potency levels are clearly marked. Our budtenders answer your questions without talking down to you or pushing products you don’t need.
You’ll find flower, edibles, concentrates, vapes, and accessories from brands that have earned their reputation. No mystery products. No inflated claims. Just straightforward options that match what you’re actually looking for—whether that’s relief, relaxation, or something to take the edge off a long week.
We operate as a fully licensed cannabis dispensary under New York State regulations. That means every product meets state testing standards, and every transaction follows the law.
Valley Stream has strict zoning rules—dispensaries can’t operate within 1,000 feet of schools, parks, or places of worship. We’re positioned to serve you legally and conveniently while respecting those boundaries.
Long Island’s cannabis market has grown fast. Across towns like Farmingdale, Coram, Deer Park, and Southampton, licensed dispensaries like Happy Days, Strain Stars, Simply Green, and Planet Nugg have opened to meet demand. We’re part of that licensed network, and we take that responsibility seriously.
You don’t need an appointment. Just bring a valid ID showing you’re 21 or older.
When you arrive, one of our budtenders will ask what you’re looking for. If you know exactly what you want, great. If not, they’ll walk you through options based on what you’re trying to accomplish—pain relief, better sleep, social relaxation, whatever it is.
They’ll explain potency, product types, and dosing in plain terms. You’re not expected to know the difference between indica and sativa or how many milligrams of THC you need. That’s their job.
Once you’ve decided, you’ll pay—cash or debit card, depending on what’s available that day. Credit cards aren’t an option due to federal banking laws, so plan accordingly. Then you’re done. The whole process usually takes less than 15 minutes unless you want to browse longer.
Ready to get started?
You’ll find a range of product types depending on how you prefer to consume cannabis. Flower is available in different strains with varying THC and CBD levels. Edibles come in gummies, chocolates, and baked goods with clearly labeled doses. Concentrates and vapes offer faster onset if that’s what you’re after.
Long Island’s cannabis consumers have been shifting toward non-flower products—vapes and edibles especially. If you’ve never tried them, our budtenders can explain onset times and duration so you know what to expect.
We also carry accessories like grinders, rolling papers, and storage containers. Nothing you can’t find elsewhere, but it’s convenient to grab what you need in one trip.
Valley Stream’s location makes us accessible whether you’re coming from Nassau County, nearby towns like Lynbrook or Elmont, or farther east from Farmingville or Riverhead. Parking is straightforward, and the process is quick.
No. New York allows recreational cannabis sales to anyone 21 or older with a valid ID. You don’t need a medical marijuana card unless you’re specifically seeking medical products with higher potency limits or tax exemptions.
If you do have a medical card, you can still shop at recreational dispensaries like ours. Some people prefer the medical route for access to higher-dose products or because they want to avoid recreational purchase limits.
Either way, you’re welcome here. Just bring your ID, and you’re good to go.
Licensed dispensaries are regulated by New York State’s Office of Cannabis Management. That means every product is lab-tested for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, and contaminants. You know what you’re getting because it’s printed on the label and verified by a third party.
Unlicensed shops don’t follow those rules. Products might be mislabeled, untested, or contaminated. In 2024 alone, state officials seized 4,800 pounds of unregulated cannabis and shut down 164 unlicensed stores across New York.
Shopping at a licensed marijuana dispensary near you isn’t just about following the law—it’s about knowing your product is safe. You’re not rolling the dice on what’s actually in the package.
No. Federal law still classifies cannabis as illegal, which means most banks and credit card processors won’t work with dispensaries. You’ll need to pay with cash or a debit card.
Some dispensaries have ATMs on-site if you forget to bring cash. We accept debit cards but process them as ATM transactions, so you might see a small fee.
It’s inconvenient, but it’s not unique to us—it’s an industry-wide issue until federal banking laws change. Plan ahead and bring cash to make your visit smoother.
Start by thinking about what you want to feel. Are you looking for pain relief? Help sleeping? Something to unwind after work? A social buzz?
When you visit our cannabis dispensary, tell the budtender what you’re after. They’ll recommend products based on THC and CBD levels, product type, and onset time. If you’re new to cannabis, they’ll suggest starting with a low dose so you can gauge your tolerance.
Indica strains tend to be more relaxing. Sativa strains are often more energizing. Hybrids fall somewhere in between. But honestly, individual products vary, and terpenes (the compounds that give cannabis its smell and effects) matter just as much as indica versus sativa.
Don’t overthink it. Try something, see how it feels, and adjust from there. Our budtenders are there to guide you, not judge you.
Yes. Recreational customers can purchase up to three ounces of cannabis flower or 24 grams of concentrated cannabis per transaction. Edibles and other products have equivalent limits based on THC content.
Medical cardholders have higher limits—up to a 60-day supply depending on their certification. If you’re buying recreationally and need more than the limit allows, you’d have to make separate trips on different days.
These limits exist to prevent large-scale resale and keep the legal market regulated. For most people, three ounces is more than enough for personal use.
Long Island has a growing network of licensed cannabis dispensaries. In Farmingdale, you’ll find Happy Days, Planet Nugg, and Strain Stars. Simply Green operates in Coram, and Long Island Cannabis Club is in Deer Park. Strong Strains serves East Setauket, while Canna Blooms is in Farmingville.
Farther east, Strain Stars has a location in Riverhead, Beleaf is in Calverton, and Brown Budda and Charlie Fox serve Southampton. All of these are licensed by New York State, so you’re getting lab-tested products no matter where you shop.
Valley Stream’s location puts you close to several options, but we’re here to make your experience straightforward and hassle-free. You’re not just another transaction—you’re someone looking for a reliable source, and that’s what we aim to be.
