In Short
Montauk is gorgeous, but it's a haul, specifically 120 miles from the city and miles away from physical legal dispensaries. If you're heading out east for Labor Day weekend and want high-quality, fully legal weed delivered straight to your rental, we've got you covered.
If you want beach-ready pre-rolls, delicious infused edibles, classic flower, or a hangover-free THC drink to sip at sunset, here is your quick, stress-free guide to ordering weed in Montauk.
How To Get Legal Weed Delivered Right To Your Montauk Rental This Labor Day Weekend
You’re finally in Montauk for Labor Day. The sun is out, the ocean is calling, and the very last thing you want to do is spend three hours of your precious weekend sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic on Route 27 just to find a dispensary.
The good news? You don’t have to. You can get fully legal, safe weed delivered right to your door across Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, and yes, that includes the furthest tips of the East End. Here is everything you need to know to get your favorite cannabis products delivered straight to your beach house.
How Weed Delivery Works On The East End
If you’ve ever ordered takeout, you already know how to do this. You hop online, browse the menu, place your order, and a friendly, professional driver brings it to you. The car is completely unmarked (no loud logos, zero drama), and all you have to do is show your ID when they arrive to prove you're 21 or older. Easy as that.
The best part? This isn’t the sketchy, unregulated delivery of a few years ago. We are fully licensed by the state. That means every single product we carry has been thoroughly tested by an independent, third-party lab. You’ll know exactly how much THC is in it, and you can rest easy knowing it's clean and safe.
We offer same-day delivery all over Long Island. Just make sure to get your order in by 10 PM. Even if you stay on the beach until sunset, you still have plenty of time to order something for the evening bonfire.
Why Delivery Is A Lifesaver In Montauk
Montauk is famous for being "The End." If you're staying in town or camping at Hither Hills, the nearest legal storefront is a long, painful drive west. On a normal day, that’s a chore. On Labor Day weekend? It’s a traffic nightmare that will eat up your entire afternoon.
Plus, tons of people take the Jitney or the LIRR train out east and don’t even have a car. Having your order brought straight to your rental isn’t just convenient; it’s pretty much the only way to go.
Over Labor Day, Montauk's population jumps from 3,500 year-round locals to about 20,000 visitors. Everyone is trying to soak up the last bit of summer. With crowds like that, staying put and ordering delivery is the smartest move you can make.
Regardless of if you're in the heart of the Hamptons, hanging out near Ditch Plains, or relaxing on the North Fork, we've got you covered. If you aren't sure if we deliver to your exact spot, just enter your address at checkout and the site will let you know instantly.
Choosing The Right Strain: Beach Days vs. Chill Evenings
Picking the right vibe is key. You don’t want something that’s going to put you to sleep when you’re trying to hang out with friends in the sun.
For a sunny day at Ditch Plains or watching the sunset at the Lighthouse, you'll want something uplifting and social. Premium coastal strains are perfect for keeping you happy, giggly, and alert. Look for strains with "bright" terpenes like limonene (which smells like citrus) to keep your energy up.
But when the sun goes down and the ocean breeze gets chilly, you'll probably want to pivot. Autumn is right around the corner, and cool September nights call for cozying up. That’s the perfect time for a relaxing indica joint or a calming, botanical edible to help you unwind.
Quick tip: If you haven't partaken in a while, start low and go slow. Modern weed can be incredibly strong, and the beach is not the place to overdo it. All our product pages clearly list the potency so you can choose exactly what you're comfortable with.
THC Drinks: The Ultimate Beach Cooler Hack
If you haven’t tried a THC seltzer yet, there is no better place to start than a holiday weekend at the beach. They are social, low-key, and solve the biggest summer problem of all: how to have fun all day without a nasty hangover tomorrow.
More and more people are trading alcohol for THC drinks, and the options have gotten incredibly tasty. Even better, they use fast-acting formulas, meaning you don't have to wait hours to feel the effects.
What To Expect With THC Drinks
Normal edibles (like brownies or gummies) have to go through your stomach, which can take an hour or two to kick in. This is how people take too much because they think "it isn't working."
THC drinks bypass that wait. You'll usually start feeling them within 15 to 30 minutes. This makes them super easy to manage in social settings, as you can enjoy one and decide how you feel before grabbing another.
Most of these drinks have 5mg or 10mg of THC. If you're new to it, a 5mg drink is the perfect starting point. They fit right in your cooler alongside your regular seltzers, they look totally normal, and you don’t need to worry about lighters, pipes, or rolling papers getting lost in the sand. You just pop the top and enjoy.
And since you probably have to drive back home on Monday, you’ll love waking up with a clear head instead of a headache.
Is it Legal To Use Weed At The Beach In NY?
Yes, adult-use weed is 100% legal in New York for anyone 21 and over. You don't need any medical cards or special paperwork. Just your ID.
As a general rule, you can smoke weed anywhere you are allowed to smoke tobacco. But keep in mind, you cannot smoke in cars, and local beach towns sometimes have their own specific rules. It’s always smart to check the local town ordinances for the specific beach you’re visiting.
When it comes to carrying it, you're allowed to have up to 3 ounces of flower on you, which is plenty for a long holiday weekend.
Just remember: delivery drivers have to drop off at a physical, residential address (like your rental house, Airbnb, or home) and they must check your ID at the door. If you are staying at a hotel, just check with the front desk to see if they can accept deliveries for you.
