Woman-owned cannabis microbusiness growing, making and selling its own products in Theresa, NY
High Falls Garden is a woman-owned adult-use cannabis microbusiness in Theresa, New York, a Jefferson County village in the North Country’s “Land of Lakes,” set near a waterfall on the Indian River and minutes from the St. Lawrence River and the Thousand Islands. The business is owned by Addie Jenne, a practicing attorney and former member of the New York State Assembly and Jefferson County Legislature, and operates under New York State Office of Cannabis Management Adult-Use Microbusiness license OCM-MICR-24-000212, issued in December 2024. That single license lets the company cultivate, process, distribute and sell its own cannabis, and its downtown storefront at 121B Commercial Street opened to the public in late May 2025.
High Falls Garden grows cannabis outdoors and in a greenhouse in northern Jefferson County close to the shop, and sells under its own house label rather than stocking national brand names, combining its own harvests with material sourced from select New York cultivators and processors. The menu covers whole flower from 3.5g eighths to full ounces, including Crème Brulee, Lemon Cherry Gelato, Kush Cake and Eagle Scout; single and multi-pack pre-rolls and kief-infused joints; cured rosin dablicators; vape cartridges and live derived disposables; gummies and chocolates; 10mg THC lemonades; and CBD-only products for both people and pets.
The shop is designed to feel welcoming and unintimidating for people who are new to legal cannabis, with staff who walk customers through different products and their effects, and it takes particular pride in serving the region’s veterans, including many retirees from nearby Fort Drum, home of the Army’s 10th Mountain Division. High Falls Garden is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 9pm and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm, with in-store shopping and online ordering available through its website.
