Organic, full-spectrum CBD grown and crafted on a family farm in High Falls, NY, in Ulster County
High Falls Hemp is a family-run hemp and CBD company in High Falls, New York, a small hamlet in Ulster County near the Rondout Creek, between the Hudson Valley and the Catskills. Founders Tricia and Rick Weissman planted their first crop in 2018, shortly after New York began licensing hemp cultivation, which makes High Falls Hemp one of the state’s original CBD brands. The company follows what it calls a “seed to soul” philosophy, handling cultivation, extraction and formulation itself.
Tricia, who grew up around Ohio farmland, runs the farming side of the business, while Rick leads marketing. The company grows full-spectrum hemp using organic farming methods on about 13 acres spread across four farm locations. Its “Hempery,” a cabin converted into a small lab, is where seeds are germinated before the plants head out to the fields. The operation holds New York State Office of Cannabis Management adult-use cultivator license OCM-AUCC-22-000215, and its sister brand, High Falls Canna, produces sun-grown adult-use cannabis from the same farm.
The High Falls Hemp lineup centers on full-spectrum CBD wellness products. It includes Sleep, Calm and Mobility tinctures, with the Sleep formula pairing 25 mg of CBN and 10 mg of CBD per dropper with chamomile and lemon balm. There are also CBD gummies in pomegranate and citrus ginger flavors, CBN+CBD blueberry sleep gummies, an Advanced Relief CBD+CBG mobility lotion, a CBD lip balm made with beeswax, and pet products such as CBD+CBG soft chews for dogs and pet tinctures.
Every product is third-party lab tested, with lab reports published on the brand’s website, and formulated to stay under the federal 0.3% THC limit. High Falls Hemp sells online and through licensed dispensaries across New York, from the Hudson Valley to New York City.
